Cockerell, ca. 1832, the verso of frame with attached envelope containing photographs of the original plan for the building and a handwritten note by Robert Smirke (1780-1867), architect of the second incarnation of the Covent Garden Theatre (destroyed 1857) and the facade of the British Museum
