Probably New York or Philadelphia, last quarter 18th C.

Together with a similarly decorated pair of Georgian steel and brass tongs and a shovel. 4 pieces total.

Similar andirons can be found in collections such as Winterthur Museum. See Donald L. Fennimore "Metalwork in Early America: Copper and its Alloys from the Winterthur Collection" p. 134 and 138.
