London 1795-1801, comprising a coffeepot and teapot by Chawner and Emes London 1796, 13"h and 7-1/2"h, engraved at the sides with a commemoration to Captain Matthew May, Captain of the British Ship Susannah of Liverpool, who lost his ship courageously, on March 6, 1796, to a pair of French privateers. Together with a similarly decorated sugar, London, William Frisbee, 1795; a creamer, Thomas Wallis, London, 1801, and marks rubbed; and a pair of sugar tongs, Birmingham, "ES", 1777
