An incredible series of newspapers, detailing the time from Lee's surrender being announced (April 8th), thru the assassination of Lincoln (April 15th), while no mention was made of it in the Charleston Courier (Also April 15th). Followed by a detailed account of the death of John Wilkes Booth (May 2nd) then a further expansion of the details of the plot (May 3rd). The arrest of more conspirators as they flee towards Canada (May 8th) and finally, the beginning of the Trail of the Conspirators.

Newspapers are Prescott Journal "Supplement", The Boston Herald, The Charleston Courier, and The New York Tribune.
