Jennifer studied studio art and art history at SMU in Dallas, TX, before earning a master’s in planning with a focus on historic preservation from the School of Architecture at Auburn University. After several years in the planning field, Jennifer shifted her focus to art connoisseurship, eventually graduating from the American Arts Course at Sotheby’s Institute in New York.
Jennifer began her art career at Sotheby’s Auction House in the Trusts and Estates Department, before joining a prestigious American art dealer in New York, where she gained invaluable insight into the international art market. After relocating back to the South, she served as an Art Consultant at Masterworks of Art, expanding her knowledge and providing guidance to collectors in the Southeastern U.S.
A native of Alabama, Jennifer resides in Nashville, TN with her husband and two teenage children. While she is currently engaged in a variety of projects as well as consulting, her most joyful hobby remains in creating art, particularly abstracts, and exploring the sublime. At the same time,
Jennifer remains dedicated to her professional development by regularly participating in continuing education courses at the major auction houses to stay up to date with market trends.
With her blend of artistic creativity, academic background, and hands-on experience, Jennifer brings a well-rounded perspective to the art world.
